Reseach
The aim of this study is to develop an immunogenomic platform at the informational and the material levels for elucidating mechanisms through which the immune system is robustly maintained or seriously disrupted from a genomic viewpoint. This will enable us to uncover uncharacterized pathogenic mechanisms of the immunological and allergic diseases‚ which is expected to yield rapid and accurate diagnosis and appropriate medical treatments. Because a multidisciplinary approach is considered to play a crucial role in bridging the gap between genomics and immunology‚ we foster young scientists who can play an active role in the generation and maturation of such an interdisciplinary field.
